Vintage Silk Japanese Kimono w/ Fan Motif Dusty Periwinkle Peach 1920S One Size
"Fan"tastic vintage Kimono with open fan print on a periwinkle blue ground, each fan in a bone and yellow tine with purple, peach and tangerine accents as well as peach poppies and green leaves. It has the extra long arms and wraps to close. Lined in bright red and pink silk. Came with a finely woven ribbon belt though I am not sure if it is the original.
This was brought back on one of many business trips by the L.V. Collings, Vice-President and General Counsel, of the Standard Vacuum Oil company (now ESSO) in the 1950's. He and his wife traveled extensively in the Orient and Asia, bringing back many antiques and textiles.
