Vintage Sheath Dress / Reversible Coat Ivory Beige Print 1960s Italy 36-33-37 c.wirschke

Perfectly vintage classic fitted darted sheath dress in a lovely scallop shell print in beige and ivory. The dress has all the earmarks of couture, yet no label that I can find, other than sewn into the bottom of the dress, " Made in Italy" 44. The only other label, see below. It is lined in silk or really good nylon, I seriously cannot tell, and has a full nearly invisible back zipper. There are pockets in the side seams on either side of the front panel. It has panels under the arms too, not your average sheath, that's for sure!

The matching reversible coat has the same shell print on one side and a solid camel on the other. Two patch pockets and button front, straight classic style. The coat has a "44" under the collar. Its perfect except the camel side has a moth chew on the shoulder.

If you look up the C.Wirschke, its an exclusive store in Dusseldorf, Germany. This was custom made, in keeping with the rest of the wardrobe of the previous owner.
