Vintage S Stylecraft Frocks Seersucker Day Dress Pink WW2 Early 1940s 36-29-47
I found a little treasure trove of late 1930s-early1940s cotton printed dresses and this is one of them- never worn though we did clean them.
This one is sooooo adorable! It has details such as princess lines, short cap sleeves, and square pockets. It buttons up the front with white celluloid floral buttons. It's dark pink in a substantial cotton seersucker. The belt is attached to the dropped waist. ....Do you see Judy Garland here? :) Label is Stylecraft Frocks. Not sure if it is the same as the jewelry maker. This dress would be at home in the hit movie " The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society"- fab costuming!
