Vintage Ladies Wasp Waist Suit Late 1940s Circle Skirt Brown36-23-Free
The fabric of this lovely vintage suit is a tobacco brown and black material, and I am not sure what it is. It feels like a medium weight cotton, but it looks like silk. Not shiny at all.
This style is known as a "quasi-Victorian", due to the Victorian waist style jacket, tight arms, lack of shoulder pads, and boned look darted top. It makes the waist look very small. It has tiny covered buttons closure. The prim, tiny ruffled neckline closes with a self tie bow.
The skirt is a full circle, unlined.
