Vintage Hooked Rug Wall Hanging Black Background 1970s

Heavy woven wall hanging has a rich black background with what looks like large poppies. It does not have a channel for a rod. The pile is approximately 2" thick and the hanging is 22" wide and 28" long not including the 12" fringe. I believe this is from the 1970's and is in excellent condition.
