Vintage Fernande Desgranges France Burn-Out Velvet Evening Coat 1950s S-M
Incredible vintage Fernande Desgranges burnout velvet evening coat of silk in black with deep jewel colors. It has opera length sleeves and a full open design with a princess collar.
The true beauty is in the burn-out velvet, which is a "roses" print of rich deep purple, red and green with some black. It is iridescent depending on how you see it so it almost looks like it is lit from within. ( photos do not show the rich colors in the pattern)
There are no shoulder seams or pads. Its lined in black silk satin. Side seam pockets and is loose fitting so that it will fit a range of sizes from small to medium. The label is Fernande Desgranges 372 Rue St Honore Paris Made in France. This is a true piece of design history.
