Vintage Black & White Jacquard Dress/Jacket Saks 70s 35-29-36

Substantial black and white jacquard woven wool makes up the skirt and jacket of this top quality vintage  suit dress. The jacket is a fitted short style with long sleeves, and it is lined with a parachute type material that feels like silk. It has, like the skirt, an accent row of red and black checkerboard- really snazzes it up. It closes with one hook.

The dress has a double knit fitted darted bodice attached to an aline skirt with box pleats. The skirt is unlined but the top is lined with same material as jacket. It has a full back zipper. Label is Saks Fifth Ave, so you know it is higher end. It is approximately a size 10 modern according to the measurements.
