Vintage Barkcloth Drapes Huge Cabbage Roses 1940s 2 Pair
2 pair of great vintage heavy barkcloth drapes, pinch pleated and hemmed, unlined. The print is so gorgeous with huge cabbage roses in pinks and golds, with blue and green on a pinky-beige ground.
They would definitely make a room feel all "cottage-y" or girly vintage at any rate. Each panel measures 43" wide, with 26" at the top and a 15" repeat in the pattern (up and down).They are 73" long as hemmed, with an additional 9" hemmed up.
The good news is one pair is perfect- the other has a few "darts" where the previous owner fixed some holes. It doesn't show up much when the drapes hang, but it is there. They do slightly alter the way they hang, but if they are behind something, or hung where they are only "open" so the gathers are there, they would be fine. Otherwise, excellent!
