Vintage Amethyst Glass/Brass Bracelet/Brooch 1940S Revival
This is a fantastic example of Vintage Edwardian Revival jewelry from the 1940's. The color is very purple, though I had a hard time trying to show this on the photos.
Large 2 1/2" vintage brooch of deep amethyst glass faceted stones set in brass. The front of the brooch, the leaves, are shiny like gold washed sterling, however it has a little corrosion on some of the drops, indicating brass. The brooch is unique in style, and has movable dangling drops- really stands out! It has a brass hook and safety-style pin back and is in excellent condition ( other than minimal green corrosion).
The bracelet consists of a double row of stones, and the center is in style like the brooch. It has a spring close clasp. It measures 7 1/2" long by 1 3/8" tall across the top. It also is in excellent condition except for a tiny bit of corrosion on the edges, you can hardly see it.
