Vintage 1960s Marimekko Minimalist Cotton Shirt Dress Neutral Pattern Unique Small PEncil
Rare and wonderful vintage 1960s Marimekko printed house dress of a heavy cotton in the neutral horizontal stripe pattern, in soft orange, blue, mocha on an ivory ground, with zip front (3/4) and short raglan sleeves. It is a cool straight style, with side seam pockets and a drawstring belt. Interesting double hem. Unlined.
Vuokko Nurmesniemi was a principal designer for Marimekko and known for bold color and shape combinations, whimsical looks. It is missing it's Marimekko label, but I had it authenticated by an expert in Finland.
