Beautiful antique white cotton lawn skirt, gored, full, with many small pleated and lace insets, set on the diagonal. The hem has three pleats and the top 5 " of the skirt has tiny horizontal pin-tucks. Its gathered at the back for the bustle effect, and has one hook and eye closing. This is not a petticoat, it was meant to be worn as a summer skirt OVER a petticoat. Though the waist is small it can easily be adjusted for a larger size due to all the gathers in back.
