Fab vintage 1970s, ( 1974 to be exact) Marimekko dress in medium weight cotton featuring a bold black and white cubic graphic.
This one is an A line with pin tucks at the yoke and no pockets; pull-over style with elbow length sleeves and maxi length. The sleeves are one piece with no shoulder seams,and have a generous armhole. A very versatile dress. Unlined. shown with a yellow belt, sold separately if available.
Label shows the date.
Vuokko Nurmesniemi was a principal designer for Marimekko, and known for bold color and shape combinations, whimsical looks.
