Antique Framed Ladies Wool Bathing / Swimsuit Aqua 20x32 1931 Aluminum Shadow Box
AS FEATURED IN COASTAL LIVING MAGAZINE in FEB--This little lovely was patented in 1931, with the number listed on the label. The vintage bathing suit is made of "Zephyr Wool" - type of waterproof wool. It is in well loved condition, perfect for summer home or cottage, even nautical decor. The label that was inside the suit we repositioned on the leg so it could be seen.
It's a seafoam green/aqua in color and perfectly faded. We put it on a tan acid free backing in a shadow box with aluminum frame, and the mat is an aqua color accenting the color of the suit.
Its hard to see in the photo but the mat is around the outside edge of the frame, and floats. The pictures don't do it justice! Its ready to hang, and measures 20x 32 x 1 1/8". Front is glass.
CONDITION: Excellent as frame is new, bathing suit is in poor condition, best to be looked at but not touched.
