This unbelievably gorgeous antique Vintage Handmade Point de Venise Needle Lace and Linen Tablecloth,( or it could also be a bedspread) measures 72 x 100 and has the most intricate handwork I've seen. It's medium weight linen. In excellent condition, not a stain and no holes or flaws.

Hand-done. It looks like it was never used.
Note: there is an area that is shown where the lace is joined. I really don't know if this is a flaw or the way it was put together.
This is one of many pieces that were purchased by L.V. Collings, Vice-President, and General Counsel, of the Standard Vacuum Oil company (now ESSO) in the 1950s. He and his wife traveled extensively in the Orient and Asia, bringing back many antiques and textiles.
