VTG Retro Black Late 1940s Dress Corde Ball Hip Detail LBD Wool New Look Womens S/M
Simple late Retro 1940s black vintage cocktail/mourning/office dress-not! It has the "new look" invented by Christian Dior, with its tiny waist and full skirt . This flattering dress features long tapered zippered sleeves, and the band above the hips is trimmed with braid and ball fringe, which puts a little wiggle in your walk. The skirt is a full circle, lined with crisp black, stiffened lining material. It has a full-back zipper opening. Surprisingly, no label. It is a heavy, well-made gown.

CONDITION: Excellent overall, the only flaw is a couple of tiny moth holes in the front of the sleeves and on the skirt. They do not show at all.. I could find no others anywhere on the dress. And they are tiny ones. It has been recently drycleaned.
