Vintage 1940s swimsuit made of rayon knit with a cotton knit lining. Its early for a 2 piece and the owner thought it quite rare at the time.The top is a loosely designed halter with ties at neck and back. Theres a tie bow in the front.It has the cotton lining, but no support.
The bottoms are shirred in the front and tie at the sides for fit. It came with these white shoelaces, but not sure if thats original. It could be home made.
Its in good condition with what looks like a masking tape mark on the top front band.
It could make a great pattern too.
