Vintage Gage Wide Brimmed Straw Hat Natural Open Weave 1930s O/S Guernsey Pie

A lovely vintage wide-brimmed hat with a " Gage" label, waiting for some pretty flowers to give it a little pizazz. It could almost also be called a cartwheel hat, it's almost that wide at 15" across. The front is wider at 5" and small in the back. It has an elastic band to hold it on but its broken( can easily be replaced).
It was never meant to fit the head, so can fit any size with hairpins, hat pins or fixing the elastic band.
In great shape for its age, no breaks in the open weave straw, which is a more rare type of straw from the 1930s.
This vintage hat is ready for your next vintage affair, church, USO dance, reenactors event, vintage fashion show, wedding hat, funeral hat, and great for Movie, Tv and theatre costume. Or maybe even the Kentucky Derby!
