Amazing, and one-of-a-kind, vintage hand-made knit ribbon openwork vintage skirt, and vest cost over $5000.00 when it was custom made in the 1970s, according to the owner. The skirt is fitted with a very slight A-line and the vest is hip length.
The woven cord belt can be worked through to be worn at the waist or in an empire style as shown. The skirt has a left-side zipper closing and is unlined. You will have never seen handwork as gorgeous as this!
The ribbon diamonds are woven into a chevron pattern and then outlined in the ribbon.
Wear this over a colored long slip, such as royal blue or hot pink to show off the ribbon work.
