STUNNING Vintage 1950's 50s Ivory Tulle Lace Prom Party Wedding Dress Gown XS

A drop-dead gorgeous gown of ivory floral lace and white tulle with crystal pleated hem. It has 3 layers of tulle, the top shorter one has a wide band of scalloped lace. The second one is crystal pleated, the third acts as a petticoat. An acetate satin slip is the base layer. No maker’s label remains but this dress appears to have been professionally made.
Beautiful details on this stunning gown – form-fitting bodice with a strapless look, with lace covering the entire thing, and becoming the long pointed sleeves and shadow neckline. It has a peaked waistband to accentuate a slim waist and of course the very full twirling skirt with cascading tiers of ivory tulle and ivory floral lace.
This dress closes down the back with 29 lace-covered buttons and loops. The entire dress is lined in ivory satin acetate. The dress is photographed using a crinoline to show the skirt to full advantage – the crinoline is not included.
No vintage size label, so please see the measurements below for a proper fit. This is a small size that would best fit a modern size 2 or possibly a small size 4. My mannequin is a size six and I couldn't get it buttoned up the back.
It is in perfect ready-to-wear condition, but for one button- the lace is a little worn on. No underarm stains, holes. The sleeve button is ever so slightly yellowed.
