Vintage Changeable Silk Blouse Amazing Buttons 1930s Provenance Med Sonja Loew

This amazing little vintage number is comprised of changeable silk, and the material is even more unique- its almost like a netting over the fabric. It has shoulder pads, dropped shoulder 3/4 sleeves, and the waist is slightly gathered to a self belt. The buttons are the show stealer though- huge filigree gold colored "bowls" with primary colored stones.

This was custom made for Sonja Loew, a Czech who married theater magnate E. M. Loew and was fabulous for her generosity, outrageous outfits, and indecipherable accent. She is sitting next to Zsa Zsa Gabor in this photo. The corset was purchased from her estate.
