Vintage Blouse Amazing Leg O'Mutton Sleeves Rivoli Crystal Buttons 1940s
Stunning Victorian style vintage blouse with huge leg O'mutton sleeves that have embroidered insets and beautiful Rivoli clear crystal buttons. The label is worn away. It is a dark ivory color and is in good condition with some tiny wear holes at the front near the vertical darts. Otherwise perfect. The material is a fine cotton gauze, maybe even lawn. Very sheer, as you can see.
This blouse has some provenance- it belonged to Sonja Loew, a Czech who married theater magnate E. M. Loew and was fabulous for her generosity, outrageous outfits, and indecipherable accent. She is sitting next to Zsa Zsa Gabor in this photo..
