Beautiful deep cobalt blue( is brighter than photos shows) Victorian purse has a very ornate silver frame. I do not think it is sterling or even plated, maybe just a metal popular then.
The bag itself is comprised of two colors of blue in gathered rows of glass bugle beads.
The glass bead part is in perfect condition, the lining needs some help.
The antique round beaded bag measures about 6" round. The chain handle has a 6" drop.
This type of bag always makes me think of movies like “The Titanic” and other Victorian and Edwardian productions.
