Vintage Charcoal Gray Silk/ Wool Blend Day Dress 1950s 40-31-44 Fitted
Gray silk wool blend in a medium weight- it is made up of tiny vertical stripes in black, silver and gray giving it a charcoal color. It is made up of 1 piece front and back, with generous armholes and 3/4 sleeves.
Details: large slated patch pockets with contrasting tops on hip and breast level. Closes with metal zipper in front behind placket. Its darted for great fit and has original belt.

CONDITION: Very good over all, but there are a couple flaws that make this costuming in my opinion: under one arm, a repair of seams, and it is broken; also one tiny hole as shown by pocket. Also, a couple small "chews" near hem that are nearly invisible. It has snaps in the back of the neckline, wonder what used to be there. It would make a terrific secretary dress, ala " Mad Men".
