Vintage Dress Peach Lace Tea Gown w/ Bias Cut Slip & Capelet 1930s 32-29-38
This kind of dress is becoming rarer and rarer...lovely peachy-pink lace vintage gown features a beautiful open short sleeve design, with velvet-covered wide straps at the shoulder. Semi-circular pleating embellishes the yoke. The dress has a full fishtail sort of hemline. It also has a side snap opening under the arm. There is a matching velvet-covered wide belt that matches the sleeves we found after the photos were taken.
The dress slips over a bias cut taffeta full length slip with self ruffles on the bottom, which adds the fullness of the hemline and matches the ruffles on the short matching capelet.
All in all a lovely gown that could be worn for a wedding, or at a wedding, or a vintage tea.
