Vintage Pink Party Dress Chiffon Ruffles Skirt 1950s 32-25-Free
Tea length pale pink gown consisting of a layer of pink taffeta that lines the entire gown, with a stiffening short "petticoat" inside; then 2 layers of pink tulle, the top layer having applied pink nylon chiffon ruffles. Spaghetti straps hold it up.
The ruffles are trimmed with white lingerie lace. The bodice is bones and and has a flattering wide waistband. The bust is built up a bit and I love the way the lace peeks out at the top. It has a satin bow trimming the front. Full back zipper. Still has its original paper tag- it cost $25 in the 1950's.
Our model is a size 2-4, and this seems to fit her well.
