Vintage Rayon Tea Gown Shabby Chic FLoral 1930s 37-30-41
This is the ubiquitous vintage garden party or afternoon tea gown of the 1930s- the ultra feminine style with a fitted low waistband, and frilly collar and fluttery sleeves. The material is a butter yellow slinky rayon with pink and green stylized florals.
The skirt is A line in style. It has no openings , it slips on over the head, so don't let the measurements make you think it is bigger than it is. It was made at home, as was most depression era clothing. All it needs is a big brimmed summer picture hat.
