Light as a feather, this gorgeous vintage 1950s stiffened silk dress is very form-fitting with a dropped waist and a very full skirt. The bodice is trimmed with a turquoise braid and covered buttons. Full back metal zipper. Unlined, though it has an attached black stiffened petticoat underneath.Raglan-style sleeves with a deep V neckline, front, and back. The 3/4 sleeves are trimmed with the same braid as the bodice. The label is Jonny Herbert.
It is in great condition, except under the arms, where it is discolored and stretched, so might be best for costume- but in every other way it is great.
