Stunning Plus Size Vintage 1930s Silk Chiffon/ Lace Evening Gown Black Wearable

Stunning 1930s plus size vintage gown of black silk chiffon with insets of floral lace on the skirt; sleeves are also sheer lace, but a different pattern. The same floral pattern is on the bodice.
It has a large sheer silk V "collar"; and self hand made lace "flowers" are pinned to the bodice. It has a self-side tie. No openings just pulls over the head, so keep that in mind when looking at sizing. I show it on a size 12 mannequin, and it fits ok. You could always add a side opening for ease at larger sizes.

It's a great find- recently unearthed straight from a cedar chest where it has been residing since the last time it was worn in the 1930s. It's clean and smells fine. No flaws, no holes, or stains on the dress. The slip is made of silk and is in fair shape except for the very bottom hem. That seems to be shattering- odd for the rest is so good! No label. Might want to replace the slip.
