Antique 20s-30s Wedding Gown Ivory Silk Satin Train Sz S Chantilly Lace Downton
A simple yet elegant 1920s-1930s dress in ivory silk satin, it has long sleeves and a dropped waist that's pointed at the hips. The neck and sleeves are trimmed with beautiful Chantilly-style lace in ivory. The neckline at the shoulders has tiny sewn-down pleats. There is a train on the back.
It is in excellent structural shape, and it has been worn only once. It is sturdy enough to wear. Perfect for that 1920s or 30s-era wedding day! However, it does have very light but large underarm stains. I didn't even notice them until it was in a certain light. But I also haven't had it cleaned—it is as found in a Pennsylvania estate. With a minimum of cleaning, this could be in perfect condition for a wedding!
Please note—there are no openings! I am showing it on my size 6 mannequin, so keep that in mind when looking at measurements. It is not bias-cut, so there is no real stretch.
