Vintage Marimekko Printed Cotton Shirt Dress 1970s Turquoise Block Batik Print Floral 42/L

Understated yet bold vintage Marimekko shirt dress of crisp, heavy cotton in bold deep turquoise and purple with a dash of mustard, all in the block floral print. It has a silver button front ( 3/4) and cuffs. It is a straight-shift style, with 3/4-long sleeves and a darted bodice. No pockets. Unlined. It has a thin self-belt that can allow for different looks—perfect condition, ready to wear.

Vuokko Nurmesniemi was a principal designer for Marimekko and was known for bold color and shape combinations and whimsical looks.
