Antique hat from around 1910 in black velvet with a cascade of ostrich feathers that drip from the back. I think the flowers may have been added later but they are also old. This hat is sort of cloche-like, but also sort of like a poofy newsboy. Lined in silk with a great label, indicating an address in Paris, 1 Ambroise Thomas, Paris France, as well as Rochester.
It measures about 11" across and the inside circumference is 22-23" which is considered large.
In great wearable condition!
I tried it on to show how it can look on a real person. Fun Fact: I am not a model! But I AM a real person:)
